Our Soup Kitchen & Homeless Shelter is currently providing hundreds of hot meals every day to sick men, women, and children and their families in the two central hospitals. We are also providing lodging for 15 to 20 people.
These hospitals service a population of half a million people spread out in the remote mountains of Chitral District, Pakistan. People travel from faraway places, like Afghanistan, to Chitral town for their medical emergencies. Most of them struggle to buy a piece of bread to eat.
Through this program, approximately 60-80 meals are provided to the needy at our physical location. Additionally, the Mobile Soup Kitchen serves about 350-400 meals at two central hospitals. At our physical location we have a homeless shelter with 15 beds that provides a clean, comfortable, and safe place for needy travelers and locals to sleep for the night.
